MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT
As with most computer equipment, mobile terminals will need repair at some point in their life cycle. Quest provides a balanced offering, from the quickest turnaround "depot express", to the lower tier 3-year discounted "service from the start", and a few in between. Quest will work with your implementation teams and our Professional Services at the point of "Commissioning" the equipment to record the serial numbers and enter into the service contract with the manufacturer.
To ensure maximum up time and priority level support, Quest offers a range of money saving options. Eliminating the lost productivity and downtime is what this service offering is created to insure against.
As the physical aspects of your facilities are dynamic to your business, and inventory changes in type and quantity, the RF Infrastructure and Mobile Terminal operations may need to change as well. Quest will perform a Site Tune to "adjust" the RF coverage from the original design and performance to match your changing needs. Site Tune may include adding/changing Access Points and Antenna types/quantity, re-inventory of all equipment, evaluation of software levels, and loading necessary software updates.
Device Management & Repair
Asset Management of your mobile inventory is made easier with Quest. We track all Serial Numbers obtained during the initial System Commissioning, and maintain the client application deployment "kits" necessary to restore all of the software to your mobile terminals by version — this also applies to RF Infrastructure equipment, Printers, RFID, and any other elements of the Quest Solution. Quest uses the equipment Manufacturer Repair Services, which are managed by Quest.
